I'm attracted by love affairs between two women. Why?

(14 year old male) I'm not talking about get excited with lesbian porn or want to have sex with a lesbian (actually i consider sex only an extra pleasure in a relationship). I just find a lesbian love story more deep, intense, meaningful, interesting and intriguing than any other possible gender match. I'm an aspiring graphic novelist and writer and wrote lesbian love stories (even if i didn't described explicit sex scenes) a couple of times. Also, in two of my story projects that i think one day i will realize there is lesbian love. I would like to read books and see movies about it. I know there's nothing wrong, but i was just wondering why.
