My dog found a dead, and rotting away squirrel, AND HE ATE IT. What diseases should I be afraid of him getting?

I'M 14 AND MY PARENTS WONT TAKE HIM TO THE VET IM TRYING TO GET THEM TOO AND THEY SAY IT WILL BE MY FAULT IF HE DIES BECAUSE I WASNT WATCHING HIM

One thing I forgot to mention - he has a VERY sensitive stomach. if we were to switch his foods - he'd puke after eating it. This is why I'm worried

No diseases, you'd be looking at salmonella or ecoli from spoiled meat, potentially internal parasites if the squirrel carried tapeworm, but not much else.

I've seen a dog eat a green mouldy squirrel with no ill effects. The acid in their stomachs is ten times stronger than ours and this is why. Honestly, this is what dogs are designed to eat.
Just keep him up to date on his worming schedule, especially tapeworm. He;ll be fine.

He'll be fine

I'm sure your dog will be fine, but you can never be too careful and i would DEFINITELY advise bringing him to the vet, are there any other friends or family you could tell about this that might take him to the vet? i doubt he'll even get sick though, let alone die or anything, so don't worry too much, it's not your fault~
