what are the effects of carbon monoxide on our body ?

Death. That's how alot of people die thru accidental or on purpose.
Hemoglobin (hgb) is a redblood cell that transports oxygen (O2) throughout the body. One hgb cell can hold four molecules of O2. Carbon monoxide (CO) actually binds to hgb better than O2 does; therefore, CO pushes the O2 off the red blood cells (RBC) & the result is O2 starvation, aka hypoxia or suffocation, & ultimately, if not corrected, death results from O2 starvation.

it starves your air supply and causes suffocation by not having air in your brain the smallest veins and you will die. that is why it important to have detector in your house so it will wake you up. You cannot smell or taste it. Have your vehicle exhaust checked often for leaks. old days used birds to detect it in the mines as they are more sensitive.
It causes hypoxia, the lack of oxygen to the brain.
