Two trains are 35 m apart and running in same direction with speeds 30 km/hr and 45 km/hr, respectively. If they cross each other in 5 mins then total length of both the train is ?
a) 354 m b) 1215 m c) 1322 m

Their differential speed is 15 km/h, so in 5 minutes, one train gains (15 km/h)*(5/60 h) = 1.25 km over the other. This is apparently the total length plus the original distance apart.
.. total length = 1250 m - 35 m = 1215 m
