what position in football would a 220 lb. kid be good at?

Probably somewhere on the line but we haven't seen the kid or his team. How are his feet? What does the team need?

Anyone who ever even went to a practice knows that your coach will assign positions for you on offense and defense. If you believe what #2 will undoubtedly paste, give him/her/it the best answer. Then print it out and take it to your new coach. It will make a memorable first impression and you will deserve it.

The kid is 11? Or the kid is 18?

And it really depends on the kids' skills. There are plenty of 220 lb. kids that aren't good at anything besides eating.
