What is a perfect gift for an eleven year old kid?

2015-12-08 4:28 pm
It's a bright kid , has great grades at school , what gift will perfect for him?
He loves videogames , but not violent , not for kids , he loves games to simulate or build like Simcity.
He loves little consoles , but it's too expensive like Nintendo 2DS or PSVita and more...
He don't like toys , like Lego or Megablocks and stuff...
更新1:

Also he likes electronics like iPod , or that... But a budget under of 100€-$

Minecraft, Sims 5, Civilization Revolution, Home tycoon, Farming simulator 2015, The settlers 7, Tropico 4, Tropico 5, Cities XL 2012, Anno 2070, Cities skylines, and SimCity 2013 are all great building games that I'm sure he or she would love.

Hope I could be of assistance:)

So he is a eleven year old boy, doesn't like violent games so gift him some games like minecraft, sims 4, and probably you might want to hang onto him before gifting him something. You just might be able to find what he would like to play and find the perfect present for him OR you can also just cheer him up and hang out with him as to make him happy. Remember a love and happiness are the best gifts a person can ever have, so try not to gift him too much games or he might get bored while playing all those things. Give him educational games that teach them history or maths, I know it sounds boring but hey, after playing quite a bit you wont find it boring anymore, rather than that just gift him minecraft, sims 4, cities XXL, Super Mario, etc. but before you do this,be a 100% sure that he would like it, OK? Thank You.Bye!!!
2015-12-08 6:14 pm
If he has a decent computer, you could get him 'Space Engineers', a really fun game where you design and construct your own spaceships/space-stations/ space-catapults/ space-Rube Goldberg machines, whatever you want/are creative enough to make, with impressive physics and destructibility, but very non-violent for a videogame all the same. There's a chance it would be too complicated for him, but if he's into Sim City and such he'd probably figure it out pretty quick. People design some really awesome stuff on the game, and it could get a young person pretty inspired. Here, for example, a guy designs a replica of the NASA space shuttle, and creates his own moon-mission.

Minecraft

My top 3 list:

1.Minecraft
2.Civilisation Revolution
3.Lego Jurassic World

These games are great and trust me when I say that 1 and 2 have an amazing replay value, I must have spent hundreds of hours just playing Civ Rev after getting bored of playing Halo, Resident Evil and such lol.your kid will love it! And it's not really violent so...game away ;)

The perfect gift for a 11 year old is a math book and homework from school.
2015-12-09 3:22 pm
Minecraft is easily the front runner for any kid out there. You can get an Xbox 360 really cheap, especially used. There are hundreds of games out there and plenty that are fun. LEGO video game series are not for building, but fun to play, hours of content, and cheap. You should give a budget.

It's [you meant HE is] a bright kid ,
CA$H, it works for everything, Unless you know exactly what he wants.
Nothing more disappointing for a kid (experience) than to get "Almost" what he wants.

Sound to me like he is stifled with what Adults think he likes.
So pick what you *think* he would like and give him the ca$h to buy it on his own (If that is what he wants). Do not forget to include money for taxes.

Money. . . or a gift card. I know it doesn't seem like a fun present to give, but as a kid, I remember it was the best present to get. I loved being able to go out and pick out what I wanted.
2015-12-11 7:50 pm
Can't go wrong with Minecraft. Even 30 yr olds play it. Xbox 360 paired with Minecraft can be under 100 euros.
2015-12-11 4:30 pm
Video games are not too expensive. Stop being so cheap and get him a great game that he will really enjoy. If you can't do that, then just get him socks and underwear. Kids always need that stuff.
2015-12-11 4:37 am
I have a 2ds, 3ds, and psp myself. You can find them pretty cheap these days as well as the games for them. I have a 11 year old niece who likes sim type games and she like My Sims, and My Sims Kingdom on the 2ds. I like farming sims like the Harvest Moon games on all 3 of the handheld systems I mentioned. None of them are violent and adults play them as well as kids. There is also a cheap indie game for the Xbox 360 called My Farm Online that only costs $1. I love that game a lot and you can interact with other players to show off your farm or see theirs. There are also a lot of minecraft type games in the xbox indie section as well.

What about small gift like a fun camera or a movie theater gift card and small amount of cash. At that age, kids can learn about money spending.
2015-12-22 8:08 pm
Em consider GTA 5
It is/can be a violent game
But if the player does not want it to be violent/ it can be violence free
But I don't know if I can completely recommend this since of the mature features it offers
2015-12-22 5:36 pm
Minecraft (used for learning) Does contain violence, but fantasy violence. No blood in this game. But can be scary too sometimes
SubwaySurfers
Sims FreePlay
The Sims series games (may need to approve of some)
Pokemon games
SimCity series
Educational games that teachers use
WiiFit, you may need to get a Wii console though
2015-12-22 2:28 pm
If he love to study or play child games like flappy bird , Mario walking or parking games you need to buy him a tablet . Lots of children love them , this is the best gift .

i dont know if he is into nerf but, nerf has these awesome lazer tag guns for about $60-65 on amazon. My sister and I got these for my 11 year old brother and he loves them. Ive played with him and theyre a blast. These have multiple modes and can also be played indoor or out. If he is not into that, you can get him Minecraft, Sims, Lego video games (also a kids classic), a game called Terraria (has some cartoon violence i believe) or just a sports game if he likes those. I think 11 year old boys are pretty flexible as long as they dont get underwear or socks. Believe me, ive been one and that christmas was the best one.

2015-12-21 8:15 pm
For gift ideas trying looking through Steam...they usually have a tagging system, so once you land on a particular idea, look and see what comes up. Personally I'd recommend Minecraft...it's sort of lego-like, but it's a lot of fun as long as you come up with ideas on what to build.
2015-12-21 5:27 pm
I believe Minecraft is EXTREMELY overrated. All you do there is crush blocks all day, every day. I cannot believe how it has gotten so popular.

I think that a few video games on this list will be good.

SimCity 4 (not the new one, SC4 was before EA turned evil)
The Sims 3 / 4 (I have never tried Sims 4, but I like Sims 3)
Cities: Skylines
Spore (maybe, depending your child's maturity)

What system does he have lol. Sims is an almost universal system game, and it's not violent, but make sure you read the box and do research, some of them are kinda raunchy. I'm a girl, but I've always loved Pokemon games, the old ones are my favorite. You can get a game boy sp and a third or second gen game online for under 100 dollars easy. If he already has a handheld Nintendo system, game stop carries games for the ds all the way up to 3ds. Zelda is always a fun game. I would also look into maybe animal crossing, it's more of a Patience Game though, look it up its fun if your willing to put in the time
2015-12-16 7:58 pm

2015-12-16 12:14 am
Well, he is growing up. You should accept the fact that he is going to grow up sooner or later and buy him a somewhat violent video game. But if you disagree, a non-violent video game is "Battle Block Theater." My nine year old loves it.
2015-12-16 12:03 am
Gift him some racing games like nfs or if hes into tinkering give him a radio controlled quadrocopter or a raspberry pi with a robot kit. He can learn programming and build ronots with that.

If he won t like that hopefully a new super Mario bros would be great fun for 5 to 6 months. Almost all wii U games are 11 year old compatible, so scroll in amazon or maybe bestbuy for some other great games

For video games you can go for FIFA Series, Sims 4, Minecraft.
Considering other stuffs, you can gift him an Android SmartPhone that does a wonderful overall job. He can play games, interact with his friends, search the Internet for information, etc.
The best option is to ask him yourself keeping him known to the boundaries of his desire.

Sounds like you got limited options. I'll still list them anyway:

On a phone like Andrioid or iPad, he can try Fallout Shelter.

For the 3DS, his best bet is Animal Crossing New Leaf.

For consoles like the Xbox One or PS4, Minecraft is the absolute choice and best fit for him.

For PC, The Sims.
2015-12-10 3:05 am

Minecraft, a fun creative game that doesn't take much computing power to run. When I was 11, my parents got me this game, and I just loved it.

Its only about $37 Canadian or €20. Canadian dollar sucks right now :P

I suggest Minecraft too. It really seems like a great choice.
2015-12-11 8:23 pm
At age eleven I was visiting abandoned mining sites with my mother.
She taught me what things to avoid, like Scorpions an Gila Monsters,
along with a basic introduction to geology. I had begun fossil collection
by then. Mainly prehistoric shark teeth and camel bones She bought
me a mechanical rock tumbler to polish gem stone we had found and
I learned the basic of jewelry making. It wasn't so much the purchase
but the outdoor hands-on adult supervised activity that I truly enjoyed.
While some that age were being told not to run with scissors I'd learned
to never run underground inside unlighted tunnels.

The Sims 4 (its a game that you make families and you can build houses and towns), there are even farming and building simulators where you have a farm or build buildings and such (They are John Deere video games I believe. I have them and never play them because my computer ran to slow to play them), does he like mysteries? If so, there are Nancy Drew games which are really fun and challenge you. You could get him a really old gaming console like a Super Nintendo or Nintendo 64 where they have the old style Mario games (Super Mario All Stars, Mario Kart) and they are actually really fun. Pretty sure you can find those for cheap but idk how easy they are to find. I also got a tablet for $100 so maybe he would like that. Hope you find something!
