1N/mm^2 = 10^6 N/m^2 = 1.00 MPa
....since there are 10^6 mm^2 in 1 m^2

Pa has units of N/m^2.

1 N/mm^2 * (1000mm / m)^2 = 1*10^6 N/m^2

Of course there are 1*10^6 Pa per 1 MPa.

1*10^6 N/m^2 * (1 Mpa / 1E6 Pa) = 1 MPa

If you knew that 1 N/m = 1 Pa, you'd realize the answer wouldn't have a decimal in it. That immediately reduces the answer to D (1 MPa).
