With all the talk about trump wanting to send Muslims and illegals out. Would this mean people who are here with work visa or permits be sent back too?
I don't pay much attention and I'm curious. But I have this question but I can't find an answer.

A person with a valid temporary visa is allowed to remain in the US temporarily, as long as they abide by their visa regulations, until the visa expires. If present on a valid temporary visa, you are not illegal alien - until you overstay your visa or commit any visa violation which results in that visa being revoked.
What part of "illegal" do you fail to comprehend? Lawbreakers have to go, law-abiding can remain for the term of their visa, or permanently in the case of legal permanent residents.

A person in the US with a visa or a work permit is, by definition, not an illegal.
