It is known that scores in soccer games follow a distribution with a mean score of 2.1 per match with a standard deviation of 1.5 per match. Suppose that a random sample of 50 soccer game is chosen.What is the probability that the sample mean exceeds 2.15?

μ( Xbar ) = μ = 2.1σ( Xbar ) = σ / √n = 1.5 / √50 ≒ 0.212
P( Xbar > 2.15 )
= P( Z > (2.15-2.1)/0.212 )
≒ P( Z > 0.24 )
= 0.4052 ..... Ans
