If a gastric bypass surgery failed, does that mean the patient can eat normally like before the surgery?

no I have had gastric bypass back in the 1970's ... I lost about 50 lbs... but I gained it all back plus more. But no you cant eat normally cause you can only eat a small portion.. I tried to eat baked chicken and I threw it up just like a lot of other foods. I would like to go through the surgery again but my insurance will not pay for it as before..

No. Your digestive tract is not like before. What does "Fail" mean? I'm guessing that failing means the patient did not lose weight.

I would go to a doctor. There may be floating foreign bodies in the patient's abdomen that were used to "shrink" the stomach during the operation.
