Is it normal for my niece to hide alot?

My 1 1/2 year old niece goes hiding alot, and if i dont go look for her she stays in the room, she also likes to stay under blankets and hide in corners, is that something serious?

She's either shy or is just playing around. I don't think there any cause of alarm here

She is trying to engage you in play. Completely developmentally appropriate for her age.
Hide and seek was the first game my youngest starded initiating to play with his brother instead of playing in his own little world. Peek-a-boo under blankets was my oldest's favourite game at that age.

No ,she must be having some fear in her mind .Try to remove it . Consult a child specialist to know the
exact problem . Sort it out for her better future as soon as possible.
