Given: Root-mean-square pressure (Prms) = 50 x10^3 uPa
Take the threshold pressure of human hearing (Po) be 20 uPa
Hence, Sound Pressure Level SPL = 20.log(Prms/Po) dB
i.e. SPL = 20.log(50x10^3/20) dB = 68 dB
Take the threshold pressure of human hearing (Po) be 20 uPa
Hence, Sound Pressure Level SPL = 20.log(Prms/Po) dB
i.e. SPL = 20.log(50x10^3/20) dB = 68 dB
