I've gone through only 1 can of dip in abouta month, will my dentist be able to tell if I brush and floss 3 times a day (first time dipping)?

It's not usually a good idea to hide health information from a doctor or dentist, since their goal is to keep you healthy and they might need the information. Don't worry--he won't snitch on you. You should be honest so the dentist will know to check for any pre-cancerous sores. Brushing and flossing won't remove tobacco stains, although regular brushing can help prevent cavities. Flossing more than once a day is actually bad for your gums and might irritate them, making them more vulnerable to infection.

Maybe, but why would you care what your dentist thinks? You have every right to rot your teeth and get mouth, tongue or throat cancer. Is your dentist going to punish you or something?
