How to get a cat to eat?

I found a kitten yesterday night she looks about 6-7 months old and she doesn't seem injured (she doesn't limp or anything like that) she's not dirty and I don't think she was lost very long but she has thrown up twice and refuses to eat (she drinks water though) we've tried hard food and two kinds of soft food but she refuses to even taste it. She also doesn't move much. It seems like she was abused by her owners and might be deaf. We're going to put up posters and look for them too but if you guys can help with the food problem that would be great! Thanks

put her in a room and give her water and a bowl of cat tuna she will eat when she is hungry and if i were you i wouldn't look for the owners they were irresponsible by letting him outside at young age and you think she is deaf how would they know that he can hear them when they call him? just keep him someone obviously didn't want him.hope this helps!

Leave the cat in a separate room leave water and some nice meat in there also give it a litter tray. Privacy usually works. If not it's a fussy cat or there's something wrong with it.

She must be sick take her to the vet
