How long does a blood test results too come back?

I went for a blood test, on Monday. It's been 5 days now. I haven't heard what the results were. And I'm pretty sure that she said that they will take 2 days. Does that mean that my results were positive. Since I haven't heard back??? I'm confused, ain't they meant to say... Or not

Now, let's look at your situation Due to this being a Holiday week, the labs are trying to get 5 days; work done in 4. So, just be patient, give the lab and dr an extra day or two,
Also the dr probably will not notify you if the results were ok. If no news by Tues, give the doc a call..

That probably means the results were normal. When it's bad, we call right away so that you won't sue us. But call and check on Monday. They might have lost your results. That does happen.

With the holiday it will be back sometime next week. Sometimes your doctor wont call you if the result is normal. I hope your results are what you are hoping for.
