a. y = 3 . square root of (x-2)
b. y = 1/3 . square root of (x-2)
c. y = 3 . square root of (x+2)

The domain limitation suggests you are looking for something of the form √(x-2). Anything of the form √(x+2) will have a different domain limitation.

The vertical stretch of 3 tells you that there must be a multiplying factor of 3, corresponding to selection (a).
