Can a 14 year old peacefully protest?

There's this thing called Fur-Free Friday where you stand outside of a mall on Friday and hand out leaflets and hold signs and such and telling people not to buy fur, leather, down, wool, agora, or any non - vegan item. Do you think that a 14 year old could participate in this?

You can try. However, most malls do not allow "soliciting" on their property, so don't be surprised if security tells you to leave.

FYI, there is nothing wrong with wearing "fur, leather, down, wool, agora, or any non - vegan item".
Your protest will be pointless, and ignored by most.

If you need to "protest" in the first place then you must have a very weak argument.

Remember those with the loudest voices (aka you interfering with other peoples lives) have the weakest argument.

Most people wold ignore you. You giving a leftlet will not change their mind. And someone who takes a leftlet my stop and ask you question. Difficult question. So be prepared to answer any question that gets asked.

Provided your parents or guardians have no objection. Preferably stay with a trusted adult who you know.
BTW whilst I understand your objection to fur, I do not understand why anyone should object to wool, which is produced with no cruelty, the sheep just have a haircut once a year. I am sure you have no fear of nthe barber/hairdresser.

There is nothing particularly wrong with you letting people know your belief's however at the same time you must respect those of others. Although some of the products you are talking about are from animals that are killed some of them are products that the animals produce naturally and, in fact, the harvesting of them benefits the animals. I personally have never understood the complaints about products like wool in that the animals themselves reap some benefits from them which include freedom from ticks and other insects that can harm them due to heavy coats of wool.

Sure but if you are serious then you should RIOT! You aren't going to hit anyone hard with a leafleting campaign, they will just think you are littering and get the police.

Yep, you sure can! There's not much too leafleting, you can do it no problem.

Yes. It's not illegal to hand out leaflets.

Nothing wrong with that as long as you are with adults giving out leaflets and being polite.

If a 14 year old argues with their parents over making their bed, NO~!
2015-11-25 10:14 pm
I don't see why not
2015-11-25 9:16 am
It's not for us to say. If it's okay with your parents and with whoever is organising it I don't see why not so long as you are going to be supervised by responsible adults.

Yes

Sure, but nobody will take you seriously.

if he believes in this edict, lives by it and has permission from parents, fine.

Well, if you are in the parking lot doing it, then it's private property and you could be cited for trespassing, assuming the mall management has a policy against unauthorized soliciting on their property...but, Your age is not a factor
2015-11-25 8:45 pm
Depends on if your parents or carers let you

I personally think anyone can participate in something like this, everyone has their own rights. It's called freedom of speech and all opinions are welcomed to this world, they may not be accepted by everyone but oh well, but that speaking, being of young age I'd be careful and watch your surroundings there as some people are dangerous as everyone well knows. I recommend staying with a partner, group, or adult at all times.
