As for the walking or sex to induce labour theories... Walking doesn't induce anything. It helps a woman already in labour, to deal with the excruciating pain of contractions. And sex triggers contractions which may trigger her uterus to start labour. It might not. It could just be a really uncomfortable encounter with her partner.
