Xbox one gifts?

Ok so it's getting Christmas and I have a male friend that's in his 20s and he has a Xbox one and plays it a lot, I'm willing to spend $30 on a gift for him and I was thinking something to go with the Xbox. What could it be!? I seen a Xbox live card or something like that before but idk how it works or if it's worth it. Thanks!

full games that are new cost a minimum of $60. those are considered AAA games like call of duty, destiny, Halo, Madden NFL, etc. I'm sure he'd appreciate any amount, and you could just get him a gift card towards those purchases.
get him a gift card to say Best Buy, Game Stop, or even Amazon, as they all sell games and accessories for Xbox One.
Microsoft doesn't have the points system anymore as Peyton has stated, they transitioned a couple years ago strictly to whatever country's currency you reside in.

Without knowing the amount of accessories he already has, a Microsoft Points card would be a good idea. That way he can spend it on anything he wants from games to movies to TV shows.
