Hello a freelancer from India i hired for a small project is asking me to connect to TimeViewer and give him my ID and password because the project he is working on it is getting to problematic to solve through chats.....Is this how it works?
if i give him that he will always have access to my computer? I am confuse Thank you

Why is he needing access to your PC? I'd be very hesitant to allow it for any reason (especially if you don't understand what's going on). He could very easily setup permanent access to your PC while he is on it.

yeah i wouldnt even let him on remotely. from your comment of his logins not working. its they work or dont work. your taking a huge risk by even letting them in remotely. if you absolutely need to use remote connection, you need to setup a virtual machine that is locked down and allow teamviewer to that and only that.

No he will only have temporary access and you can end it at any time. However, there is a new function on teamviewer that allows you to remote access at any given time, but that involves a special password.

you must mean teamviewer... it's ok. just watch what is going on.. and then afterwords if teamviewer is not running, no one will be able to access your computer.. just make sure the person doesn't download and install anything (which could be a trojan or RAT

no... he will only have access until you either restart teamviewer or restart your computer
