Calculate the wavelength of light emitted when an electron in the hydrogen atom makes a transition from an orbital with n = 6 to an orbital with n = 2.

E = hc/lambda

Take the formula you've been given for energy of an electron as a function of n. Calculate the difference in energy. Set equal to hc/lambda. Solve for lambda.
