It could be stress and a bad diet. DO NOT give him people food. Diarrhea is very bad for cats, make sure he eats properly and has water so he doesn't get dehydrated. Try to minimize any stress as much as you can. He needs to get used to his new environment. Cat nip is also good for digestion, so sprinkle a little into his food. When you can, take him to the vet, to make sure he isn't getting malnourished and dehydrated.

could be the human food he's eating or someone is giving the cat milk products, try to see if anyone is giving the cat milk products as that could be the cause of it

stick to dry food and water for awhile - never give a cat too much wet cat fod and no human food for kittens

give him hard food, don give up
