詢問一些有關現在完成式的問題?

我昨日下午看見Tom 收到d信，我現在唔知個d信是不是在Tom 個度，想詢問現在可唔可以對住Tom 講"Tom has received the letters." ，我用現在完成式是想表達佢曾經收過d信。

Present perfect cont'd tense shows may continue in future tense:-
eg:-Tom has received the letters (add the time=yesterday.)
and will receive some (tomorrow.);
whether a.and pron.which of the two----
whether conjc.introducing the first of two alternatives of which the second might be expressed, implied-------
whether he keeps or not;---
whether he receives and eats/swallows/burns/tears/.......
Hence present perfect is Okay !!!!!!!!!!
