Was he turned on?

My boyfriend and I were making out last night, and as things progressed, he began breathing more heavily and was biting my bottom lip every now and then. He also pulled me closer into him and kissed me harder as time went on. I feel like he was turned on, but I would like am outside opinion. What do you think?
