The answer is no.
A Chinese (Hong Kong/Macau) citizen can only use the following to return to the Mainland:
1. Travel Document issued by the MFA; or,
2. Home Return Permit issued by the MPS.
A HKSAR/Macau SAR Passport is NOT a valid travel documennt to the Mainland.

特區護照是外遊用的，香港中國籍居民返大陸，只可以用回鄉卡；
