lateral SA = 2 pi r harea of top and bottom = 2 pi r^2
total surface area = (2 pi r h) + (2 pi r^2)

the surface area is the sum of the lateral area and the top and the bottom
now: the top and the bottom are circles , so, = 2 * area of a circle = 2 Pi r^2 ( where r : radius )
now: the lateral area is the sum of H number of circles ( H : height ) so, = h * circumference of a circle = h * 2 Pi r
now: the top and the bottom are circles , so, = 2 * area of a circle = 2 Pi r^2 ( where r : radius )
