My indoor cat disappeared and has been missing for 2 days?

The night before last was the last time I saw my cat. I'm not sure if she got outside, because I didn't see her escape, but I've searched my whole house and can't find her. She's an indoor-only cat, and has never gone outside before, although she always looked outside curiously when I opened the door. I left food on the porch, and searched around my house and my neighbor's houses, but I've seen no sign of her. What can I do to find her?

Call shelters. Put lost pet ad online. Make posters. Is she fixed?? Cats not fixed tend to try and get out. Cats may stay out for days though.my 1yr old wasnt fixed yet and she got out and sadly never made it home i found her on the side of the road. I hope she comes back i know its stressful not knowing were your pet is. Shell come back soon

I know the feel.
Look for it very late in the evening and/or very early in the morning.
Its probably hiding somewhere and it wont come out until its nice and quiet outside.
Call him and listen very carefully.

have you tried putting up missing cat posters in the area you live in
