trig. problem?
Consider the paddle wheel on a river boat. Write two trigonometric equations for the height of a paddle relative to the water at time t. The radius of the paddle wheel is 12 feet, and the distance from the center of the paddle wheel to the water is 9 feet. Assume that the paddle wheel rotates at 420 revolutions per hour and that the paddle is at its highest point at t = 0. Graph the equation for 0 ≤ 𝑡 ≤ 0.4 , where t is time in minutes.
回答 (2)
y = 9 + 12 sin ( Θ + π / 2 ) ; Θ = 420 [ 2π t ]...period is 1/420 hr
