All animals stem from the same kingdom (animal) but split of by class, genus, and species it called Taxonomy.
it's a reptile. a very large reptile. it's also an animal. a very large animal.
Reptiles are animals and crocs are reptiles
Reptiles are animals. Good God, I can't believe that there are so many people that don't know that.

I think you have the words animal and mammal confused, surprisingly a common mistake lol a crocodile is part of the crocodilian family, a reptile, not a mammal
Reptiles are defined as having scales or scutes, lay land-based hard-shelled eggs and possess ectothermic metabolisms (cold-blooded). This definition excludes birds, which, although are classed as archosaurs alongside crocodilians, have traditionally been treated as a separate group of vertebrates.
Mammals on the other hand are covered in fur or hair, bear live young and possess endothermic metabolisms (warm-blooded). They also have mammary glands to produce milk for the young.
There's off-course small exceptions to this broad categorisation on both sides (e.g. garter snakes give birth to live young, echidnas are one of the few mammals to lay eggs etc), but as a general rule of thumb that's how to distinguish mammals from reptiles.
Both groups are animals alongside Birds, Fish and Amphibians.
The group 'Reptilia' is represented by three clades: Archosauria (Crocodilians and Birds), Testudines (Chelonians), and Lepidosauria (Squamates and Tuatara).
Birds, as stated already, are considered a separate group of animal from the reptiles although share close evolutionary ties. Crocodilians include the Crocodiles, Alligators and Gharial. Chelonians include Turtles, Tortoises and Terrapins. Squamates include Amphisbaenians, Snakes and Lizards (including Legless Lizards). Those are your reptiles.
lol...reptiles are animals...sounds like an easy game show...
Animals/mammals are fur bearing warm blooded and give birth to their young alive.
Reptiles are cold blooded and lay eggs same as birds do.
Its a reptile. a reptile is an animal
It is a reptile. Mammals, even the 'primitive' egg-laying ones, have two defining characteristics: fur/hair, and glands that secrete milk to feed the young.
I think the word you're looking for is mammal. They are reptiles, not mammals. Don't worry, I've made the same mistake, mixing up the words mammal and animal, haha.
