Money went though after online purchase but no conformation.?

I recently purchases a promise ring for my girlfriends birthday , it shows on my statements that it has gone through but I can not get past the credit verify page on the website, Is it normal for my
account not to go through until they have contacted my bank to make sure this is not a fraud? has this every happened to you?
