Trying to get the time constant with only a PASCO Pasport current-voltage sensor. Is it possible to get the time constant without 750 interface? No oscilloscopes, signal generators, nothing. Our EMF source are 2 3-v batteries. (Batteries, resistor box, capacitor, bingo!)
If so, can somebody please tell me how to connect the current-voltage sensor to the circuit? Can t find any pictures on the net!

You know the time to discharge is 5 or 6 time constants
1-e^-5 = 0.9933
1-e^-6 = 0.9975
Thus you can approximate RC or R/L just knowing the time to charge or discharge.
