iPads?
I have a friend who is a Witness, and he probably wouldn't touch an iPad with a ten-foot pole.
In fact, he'd rather not ever have to use a computer - and he doesn't, nor does he own one.
But my real point is...why would you need an iPad to access the Witness web site? Can't you do it with a plain-jane, run-of-the-mill home computer that most people in wealthier nations probably already have access to?
I don't have an iPad, and I will continue to offer the magazines to those who prefer to read from the printed page. I live in a state (of the USA) which has areas not reached with good Internet Providers and even cell phone usage. So magazines and other publications will not be reduced in this area much.
Many world-wide enjoy the use of the computer in their homes. And in all honesty, VIDEOS cannot be reproduced with the use of the printed page.
So the reduction or seeming reduction of magazines is balanced out with the use of other media in many areas.

Any one with a smart phone, and not one of the high level models, can access the web site. Even in Africa, where computers are rare, many have phones that can reach the site. And with it having information in over 700 languages, it is likely that the majority of earth's population can read about the Good News of the Kingdom.
