Should Matt Kenseth be fined, for deliberately taking out Joey Logano?

No he was just giving payback for Logano spinning him out at Kansas. If Kenseth gets punished then Kevin Harvick should be punished for Talaldega

No, he should NOT! Logano took away his win from him at Kansas too. I believe he deliberately wreched Matt Kenseth to win there. That's what you get for being a jerk! If NASCAR decides to fine Kenseth, they should do something about Logano too...and his cheap act at Kansas. Logano started it. Everybody knows that Kenseth is a calm nice guy. Joey is the one who creates drama with almost all drivers.

It looks like Kenseth's RF wheel well got tangled and locked with Logano's LR wheel well, AND that Kenseth's front wheels were turned to the left when contact was made. That raises the question of intent. If it was intentional the what should the penalty be. For the sake of being fair handed it should be the same as the one given to Logano at Kansas.

There is quite the call for that from the media, not fines, suspensions. Last time I heard calls like this was when Jeff Gordon did the same to Clint Bowyer at Phoenix.

As far as if he should, I am not sure, again cause of the similarity of similar incidents in the past. As I type the Carl Edwards/Brad Keselowski incident at Atlanta comes to mind which is basically the same in that a driver multiple laps down (Edwards/Kenseth) takes out a still competing car (Keselowski/Logano).

There have been instances where people think Logano did the same to others, of course Kansas a couple of weeks ago with Kenseth & the Hamlin/Logano incident at Auto Club Speedway which resulted in Denny getting a back injury.

All I know is if the NASCAR Media have their way, he would be suspended at least a race

No. If he is fined Lagano should also be fined for purposely taking him out two weeks ago when he was leading the race.

I'm sure he will be fined and probably lose some points. If NASCAR really wants to make a statement keep him parked for the rest of the year. If NASCAR parks a driver he or she is parked until "unparked" Since Kennesth was parked today there would be no chance for appeal. NASCAR has used this in the past for both Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick for wrongdoings in trucks keeping them parked for the weekend.

I am with Mark Martin, a good tail kicking would have worked out much
better (after the race). When we were in high school, if we got into an
altercation, the coaches were notified and the boxing gloves were put
on us at our normal P.E. time and we went at it until someone gave up

It seems the corporation has made Logano their new golden boy, but if going to fine one must do it to Logano, and evey other driver that pulls that stunt, and as I have seen on numerous ocassions, especially with the "new" champion winner format, that it is no longer fair and equal for all.

No! Logano started it by wrecking Kenseth. Granted, they were fighting for the win but Logano had a choice, he made it and wrecked Kenseth. He could have passed him clean. Now he got paid back and is crying about it. He should have learned from his teammate Keselowski last year that being hated by most of the other drivers will ultimately not work out well for him. Costly lesson as it may well have cost him a shot at the championship but I bet next time Logano has to make decision to wreck someone or wait to pass cleanly, he makes a different decision. Look at Brad. He pissed off just about everyone last year, got put in his place and has had a relatively uneventful year.

It's funny how blind people are. Matt drove across the nose of Joey on the back stretch and almost wrecked.Then Joey had another run went high to pass but Matt kept blocking and gave Joey no room to pass.Just yesterday at the end of the Daytona 500 Matt almost caused the big one trying to block Denny.

No. The only time a fine or expulsion should be levied is when a driver deliberately causes a pile up. I don't think Joey's spin of Matt or Matt's spin of Joey hurt another driver.

As for no one caring about Joey, blame NASCAR. They brought him to the major races too soon and he can't perform the way he did in his younger races.

Not as a sanctioning body would like, (they think they are in control) but in any competitive endeavor you half to stick up for your self. I have done things not in my best intrust. I payed the price, and it was worth every Penney.

I think NASCAR did the right thing. It was an obvious take out, as he drove right into him--into the wall. a guy who is a few laps down has no biz doing this to the race leader. Danica Patrick is also a dangerous driver. Why does she wreck all the time?
