I have a question about calibration in Rock Band?

So I'm a drummer but I got a PS4 guitar controller just so I could calibrate my settings in Rock Band 4. I was wondering if the settings are just TV specific.

I was using my parents' old TV for Rock Band 2 and 3 and I don't have a PS3 guitar controller so I cannot calibrate my settings in Rock Band 3 via guitar on my PS3 but I didn't need to back then. Now I have an HD so I do need to calibrate the settings. I know that I can select the MS manually and I was wondering if I could just take a picture of my settings in Rock Band 4 and use those same settings on RB3 because I would love to play Rock Band 3 again. So if I calibrate that game manually, would the same settings I use in RB4 work on the same TV?

Calibration is different for each game, each console, each TV, sometimes even different between controllers (depending on their firmware). You can't just use RB3 settings in RB4 unfortunately.
