Is there documented cases of death by the dirtiness or by touching a cat?

Uh, no. Most germs that cats may carry cannot be passed on to humans (ringworm, rabies, internal parasites). You are much more likely to get sick from the human germs you encounter each day - money, your cell phone, doorknobs, shopping cats. Worry less about the cat and it's germs and more about the people around you.

Wow are we OCD or WHAT? No, of course not. But you CAN contract Ringworm from a cat that has it.

I have not heard of any. Cats are normally clean animals. Even if the cat is ill humans are not likely to catch it. Toxoplasmosis is an exception, and women who are pregnant are told not to clean the cat box. but touching should be fine.

Not that I know of though back in the old days people could have passed on after coming into contact with a sick animal
