Can anyone recommend a good sci-fi like "Jumper"? I like books with powers and abilities that aren't super heroes.?

Have you read the "Gone" series by Michael Grant? A dome comes down over a California town and everyone over 15 disappears. Some of the remaining kids end up with magical powers - able to shoot fire from their fingers, to run super fast, to fly, to propel their bodies down through the earth, to levitate items. They're really cool books and SIX novels so you really get to know the characters.
