How long after the "best buy" date is coffee good for, sealed and packaged?

I have a bag of coffee that has a best-by date of 6/2015 date, I don t have money for more coffee right now and was wondering if it would be safe to drink it. Thanks!

I used a can that was 3 years out of date and it was good

It will be safe to drink for years as long as it stays dry so it doesn't get moldy, though it may lose some flavour over time if not well sealed. I have some coffee beans in my cupboard which have been there for at least 5 years. I don't drink a lot of coffee. They tasted fine when I ground some up and made coffee from them a couple of weeks ago.
