appropriate clothing and shoes to wear to a wedding?

The manner of dress is directed by the time of day; however, today rules like this are not followed as strictly. I have seen just about everything. I think the white lace top,(is o,k. because it is not all white) it being lace would be fine as your skirt is light blue. You can buy/borrow a pair of white or silver dressy flats or if you can purchase a low heeled white or silver flat shoe would be appropriate. You can tone down the white by wearing a light blue necklace and earrings and a clutch bag if you have one and can afford (silver goes better with blue). I see no reason why this is not fine. You are after all going to see a couple you know be united in holy Matrimony. Your presence is enough.

A white top and a blue skirt is fine. The rule isn't that you can't wear any white; it's that you shouldn't wear an all-white outfit. Low heels are fine.

No stripper heels, no lace up sandals or anything that woykd scream nude bar. High herls are fine, most ladies will wear high heels.

i would wear low heels. you can wear flats if you wish. no rules says you have to wear heels. a top and skirt are fine unless the wedding is formal. then you would need to wear a formal gown. it would say on the invitation if it is formal.

I think long skirts are great, you're protected up minus the restrictions of trousers.

I think short skirts, coz you showcase more thighs, but really it doesn't matter both should go great

This outfit is way too casual for a formal occasion like a wedding even if the wedding itself is not a black tie affair you need to upgrade that look to be appropriate
