Difference between shouting and belting?

Shouting is raising your voice.
Belting is raising your hand.

This has nothing to do with laptops & notebooks :P

Though I've seen a few questions lately that seem to have been moved by somebody to a random category.

As for me, I'd say belting is usually related to singing, like singing a certain way.
