English Grammar Problem (urgent)?

我在2009年10月1日將我隻錶俾我朋友欣賞，我朋友在2010年3月25日俾返我。我在2011年10月1日丟左隻手錶，我朋友在2011年11月25日去世。想請教大家我講"My watch has been returned." 有無唔妥。

那隻錶現在已經不存在了，就不能用「現在完成式」來說返還給我這件事，而是用「過去簡單式」：The watch was returned to me by my friend in 2010, but I lost it the next year.
