A recent college grad who suddenly becomes available in the job market, but has yet to find his first job.

A student graduates from uni and he is unable to find a job yet, but he is still looking for a job.

A truck driver gets thrown out from his position by his company and hits the road. Resulting injuries are frictional to this unemployed person. .

a worker who is skilled at using a particular kind of milling machine is laid off when his company moves their plant to another state. The worker looks for a new job, but no local company that uses that machine is currently hiring. the worker applies for jobs at local companies that use different kinds of milling machines, and is not selected for employment, due to their being other workers available who do have experience with that machine type.

The worker is unable to be immediately re-hired, but eventually a job opens up within a reasonable commute that does have the same milling machine and the worker is hired again.
