a) "constant speed" means equilibrium -- the component of the applied force upslope is equal to the component of the weight downslope.F*cos30º = mg*sin30º
F = mg*tan30 = 100kg * 9.81m/s² * 0.577 = 566 N
b) Both the crate and the applied force have components perpendicular to the ramp. The total reaction force
R = mg*cosΘ + F*sinΘ = 100kg * 9.81m/s² * cos30º + 566N * sin30º
R = 1133 N
