How much does it cost to get a pitbull's ears cropped?

Prices will vary from Vet Clinic to Vet Clinic, so you're going to have to call around. For an example, I live in the US and cropping can run anywhere from $100.00 up to close to $1,000.00 depending on the Vet and even which State, but keep in mind that not all Vet crop anymore and some of the ones who do can do a very poor butcher job. Call your breeder and ask them for a Vet reference. Also, ears are cropped from 8-12 weeks old, so if your puppy is older than that more than likely it would be best not to crop. Since Pits usually get very short crops, you might be able to get away with cropping them a couple of weeks beyond 12 weeks, but that would be up to the Vet who would be doing the procedure.
