Do dogs know what our gender is?

I wanna know if any animal really, knows what gender their owner is. It just got me wondering if my cats or dogs know that I'm a girl. Can someone please help?

They have noses. They can tell gender related differences.

YES! Dogs can tell the 'male' and 'female' between humans. Look at cases of abuse where a dog no longer trusts an entire gender - they can distinguish gender through the smells we give off rather than our physical appearance.
Dogs can even tell when a woman is pregnant because of the hormones changing the scent she gives off.

Animals have very good senses. But, they probably can't distinguish "boy" vs "girl" because they don't know the terms. They know who you are though, by your smell and look.

Sure they do, my dog thinks that I am a dog too and likes to have a sniff of my testicles. Of course it doesn't do him any good.

I don't think they know from my experience. I'm a guy, a male dog tried humping me, yet maybe the dog just wanted to get it out of his system.
