For example, 1g of monobasic acid of unknown formula is dissolved in 20.72cm3 of 0.588M KOH solution.
以上我將條chemical equation written as below:
HnA + KOH → KnA +H2O

HnA(aq) → nH^+(aq) + A^(n-)(aq)
或 HnA(aq) ⇌ nH^+(aq) + A^(n-)(aq)

HA(aq) → H^+(aq) + A^-(aq)
或 HA(aq) ⇌ H^+(aq) + A^-(aq)

====
1 g of monobasic acid of unknown formula is dissolved in 20.72cm3 of 0.588M KOH solution.

Let HA be the formula of the monobasic acid.

HA + KOH → KA + H2O
Mole ratio HA : KOH = 1 : 1

No. of moles of KOH = (0.588 mol/dm³) × (20.72/1000 dm³) = 0.0122 mol
No. of moles of HA = 0.0122mol
Molar mass of HA = (1 g) / (0.0122 mol) = 82.0 g/mol ...... (Ans)
Relative molecular mass of HA = 82.0 ...... (Ans)
