Could my cartoid artery be dissented?

I had a sharp pain in it about 10 hours ago and since then ive noticed it feels weaker than my right cartoid artery. But I cant think of whether its always been like that. I dont have any symptoms of stroke or anything and after 10 hours you'd think I would. I'm not even sure it was the artery just the general area around it. The pain hasnt happend since and I had been looking down at a laptop for a few hours
