Solx：y：z=2：7：5
x/2=y/7=z/5
8/2=y/7=z/5=4
y=28，z=20

(i) X:Y=2:7 and X= 8
8/Y = 2/7
8(7/2) = Y
∴ Y = 4(7) = 28
(ii) X:Z=2:5 and X=8
8/Z = 2/5
8(5/2) = Z
∴ Z = 4(5) = 20
