Got invited to a friend's friend birthday party? And i don't know that person at all?

So my friend's friend is having her 18th bday coming up soon. And my friend and other people are planning to give her a surprise party. But my friend invited me to go although i do not know her friend. like at all. All i know is her name and that's basically it. I don't know what she likes and stuff, and i don't wanna go. But when i talked about it to my friend, she mentioned that some people reject the invitation and are really rude. What should i do? SInce it's a surprise party, her friend might find it weird that i'm there and im so awkward in these type of situations. help?

It'll be fine, just try to relax and go with it. It won't be awkward, you can ask your friend things about her so you have stuff to talk about, and you don't have to talk that much to her anyway, maybe just an introduction and some small talk. She's probably pretty nice, just you being there will help her to enjoy her day :)
