Buying Volkswagen golf gti! Please help me decide whether this is a good deal!?

I am thinking of financing a Volkswagen golf gti for 84 months and I am going to trade in my 2013 Toyota Matrix XRS.
Here is the offer:
$320/month after tax.

Should I close the deal? Any help or comment is hugely appreciated!

Seriously, I am looking for meaningful advises. Please help me analyze the situation.

You shouldn't be looking at how much the payments are to decide if it is a good deal. You should be looking at the sales price, trade in allowance and interest rate based on your credit rating. Anyone who stresses only the payment when selling you a car is out to take you for every dollar they can get.

So you're paying nearly $27,000 plus your old car for a Golf?

The dealer must have big windows, because he saw you coming a mile away.

84 months? Seriously? I can't imagine paying $320 for 7 years for anything. I've never had a car loan over 5 years and I never will. The price is good assuming it's a new GTI, though.

Do you have pay off on the Matrix? That could seriously screw the pooch.

A 7-year loan is NEVER a good deal.

No. You are getting fleeced. A Volkswagens usually start falling apart at around 5 years old and your matrix should be worth the majority of the cost of a new GTI. While you are at it, you may as well make some VW diesel emissions scandal jokes while you are at the dealer. VW ought to be deeply discounting its entire lineup.
