In Earth’s history before the Industrial Revolution, Earth’s climate changed due to natural causes not related to human activity. Most often, global climate has changed because of variations in sunlight. Tiny wobbles in Earth’s orbit altered when and where sunlight falls on Earth’s surface. Variations in the Sun itself have alternately increased and decreased the amount of solar energy reaching Earth. Volcanic eruptions have generated particles that reflect sunlight, brightening the planet and cooling the climate. Volcanic activity has also, in the deep past, increased greenhouse gases over millions of years, contributing to episodes of global warming.
No....there is no credible, unfalsified, scientific data that supports the notion of Catastrophic AGW.....none....Period! If it was legit, Al Gore and tens of thousands of Climate cronies would not be jetting all over the World for luxury vacations.....uh....I mean....climate conferences.
In other words.....they are guilty of Fraud!
Proponents of chaos theory claim that a butterfly fluttering it's wings on the opposite side of the world causes hurricanes. Their solution is to destroy western industrialization, instead of wiping out butterflies.
It is probably that same butterfly causing all their global warming. I say let the warmist eat butterflies, cake is too good for them.
And while I may mix my metaphors, I'm not nearly as mixed up as that bunch.
Do we have an effect, probably as much as the butterfly does. But short of offing ourselves I don't see how we could stop having some effect. A solution, just let me go on record as saying that I'm opposed to.
When someone asserts that unicorns exist but are unable to produce a unicorn to prove their assertion. I tend not to believe them.
So Far there is no evidence to prove any warming is due to increased CO2.
I think NO
Climate Change is real. The earth has been naturally warming since the “Little Ice Age”, with cooling cycles.
No unambiguous evidence exists of dangerous interference in the global climate caused by human-related CO2 emissions. In particular, the cryosphere is not melting at an enhanced rate; sea-level rise is not accelerating; and no systematic changes have been documented in evaporation or rainfall or in the magnitude or intensity of extreme meteorological events.
Any human global climate signal is so small as to be nearly indiscernible against the background variability of the natural climate system. Climate change is always occurring.
A phase of temperature stasis or cooling has succeeded the mild warming of the twentieth century. Similar periods of warming and cooling due to natural variability are certain to occur in the future irrespective of human emissions of greenhouse gases.
Neither the rate nor the magnitude of the reported late twentieth century surface warming (1979–2000) lay outside the range of normal natural variability, nor were they in any way unusual compared to earlier episodes in Earth’s climatic history.
If Man, in the future, achieves a capability to change global temperatures, he will likely use that technology to warm the planet, not to cool it.
climate change is due to things such as burning fossil fuels for petrol, and depleting rainforest which naturally produce oxygen from carbon dioxide. another is factories and industrailisation where more and more things are produced on the assembly line
Yes, human activities contributes major to the global warming.
I follow the science, which has made it clear that human activity makes a difference. Why would anyone disagree with the people who are paid to study these things?
Yes, so say 97% of the scientist who have expressed an opinion and have published science papers on the subject. [1] You do not have to be a scientist to understand that CO2 is a greenhouse gas, this was established 2 centuries ago and even mythbusters did an episode on it.

Those profiting from polluting our environment are funding the deniers with millions [2] to continue doing so, as as well as spending nearly a billion dollars to fund the campaigns of politicians [3,4] to ensure they keep collecting part of the 5.3 trillion dollars in subsidies. [5]
There are also a bunch of young earth creationist here who claim there is no AGW, despite the fact that 2014 was the warmest year on record and that 2015 is set to surpass that.
.
There's no doubt current warming is due to human activity.
It's all documented in the IPCC scientific reports. Climate deniers can't read scientific reports. It sends them doolally.
Based on my knowledge, climate change is mainly due to natural causes, but with human influences. For example, the ice age. How did that take place. Basically, over long periods of time, the earth heats up and cools. Google the effect the seas has on temperature as well at its absorption and release of C02. Also, consider cosmic events, the sun and position of the earth. Look up the milankovitch cycle. And obviously, man has an influence though not as much as you are thought to believe and not necessarily due to C02 emissions but due to mining, deforestation, infrastructure affecting the hydrological cycle....blah blah. I could name a million things.
Also, keep in mind that climate change is a huge business so don't believe everything you hear. No matter who says it, be skeptical. I recommend that you resort to google searches and do a course on environmental studies/science to further your knowledge on this topic. There's a lot more to it than you think.
Over the last billion years, the changes have been natural.
But baseds on evidence and theory, 90% of climate scientists agree than the changes over the last half century are mostly caused by man. In part because the temperature has increased while the Sun has radiated less.
Some of it but not so much as BHO an other nut jobs say.Amazing how if we pay more than it's OK.
The Bible shows that God entrusted man with the stewardship of the earth. (Genesis 1:28; 2:15) For earth’s ecology to remain in balance, however, man needed to have the right attitude. In fact, he needed to love his earthly home. He had to want to maintain it in a beautiful state. But man was endowed with free will, so the possibility existed that he might choose to exploit the earth and mismanage it. And that is exactly what he has done. The results of man’s carelessness and greed have been devastating cause man is occupied with his own selfish desires and activities.
Some of the problems: (1) Deforestation is affecting earth’s ability to absorb carbon dioxide, which may contribute to more extreme weather patterns. (2) Excessive pesticide usage is destroying insect populations that perform vital ecological roles, including the pollinating of crops. (3) Overfishing and pollution of seas and rivers are greatly decreasing the fish populations. (4) The greedy use of earth’s natural resources leaves little for future generations and is thought to be hastening global warming. Gases that contribute to the greenhouse effect include carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane, as well as water vapor. The atmospheric concentration of greenhouse gases has increased markedly over the past 250 years, since the start of the industrial revolution and the increased use of fossil fuels, such as coal and oil. Another greenhouse-enhancing factor seems to be the rising population of farm animals, whose digestive processes produce methane and nitrous oxide. Some researchers point to other causes of warming that they say occurred before humans could have influenced climate.
Seems like everything there says that the change is due to human activity cause Jehovah God made the earth's life-sustaining ecosystem to support man. But there is always those who say the climate has been changing anyway. But the question is "if earth’s temperature is rising—no matter what the cause or causes—how will it affect us and the environment?" Precise predictions are hard to make. But we do know for sure that the Bible tells us that these changes are ruining the earth and are dangerous for man to exist. God will put and end to what is ruining the earth. Genesis 6:11; Revelation 11:18
Yes, the evidence is overwhelming
yes. humans are responsible
s , climate changing due to human activity
Yes! I believe humans have a lot to do with the climate change that's happening right now. They doing it by polluting the earth by littering, driving vehicles that run by gas & the gas that comes out the tail pipe of the them that goes up in the air, the power plants & the cigarette smoke. Its like people don't care if they contaminating the world with their poison. Its really not the world that's F.U.C.K.E.D. up but the people who are messing up the atmosphere & the world are F.U.C.K.E.D. up.
Justin Bieber is just a waste of oxygen !!!
It's a natural cycle that Climate Hoaxers have tried to represent as manmade because they need funding.
The scientific opinion on climate change is the overall judgment amongst scientists about whether global warming is happening, and if so, its causes and probable consequences. This scientific opinion is expressed in synthesis reports, by scientific bodies of national or international standing, and by surveys of opinion among climate scientists. Individual scientists, universities, and laboratories contribute to the overall scientific opinion via their peer-reviewed publications, and the areas of collective agreement and relative certainty are summarised in these high level reports and surveys.
The scientific consensus is that the Earth's climate system is unequivocally warming, and that it is extremely likely (at least 95% probability) that humans are causing most of it through activities that increase concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, such as deforestation and burning fossil fuels. In addition, it is likely that some potential further greenhouse gas warming has been offset by increased aerosols.
National and international science academies and scientific societies have assessed current scientific opinion on global warming. These assessments are generally consistent with the conclusions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report summarized:
Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, as evidenced by increases in global average air and ocean temperatures, the widespread melting of snow and ice, and rising global average sea level.
Most of the global warming since the mid-20th century is very likely due to human activities.
Benefits and costs of climate change for [human] society will vary widely by location and scale. Some of the effects in temperate and polar regions will be positive and others elsewhere will be negative. Overall, net effects are more likely to be strongly negative with larger or more rapid warming.
The range of published evidence indicates that the net damage costs of climate change are likely to be significant and to increase over time.
The resilience of many ecosystems is likely to be exceeded this century by an unprecedented combination of climate change, associated disturbances (e.g. flooding, drought, wildfire, insects, ocean acidification) and other global change drivers (e.g. land-use change, pollution, fragmentation of natural systems, over-exploitation of resources).
Some scientific bodies have recommended specific policies to governments and science can play a role in informing an effective response to climate change, however, policy decisions may require value judgements and so are not included in the scientific opinion.
No scientific body of national or international standing maintains a formal opinion dissenting from any of these main points. The last national or international scientific body to drop dissent was the American Association of Petroleum Geologists,] which in 2007] updated its statement to its current non-committal position. Some other organizations, primarily those focusing on geology, also hold non-committal positions.
Due to American & European people responsible for climate change...
lol u guys are such nerds it was for a half hour project. thanks for the info tho:)
it has got worse since the human race evolved
I appreciated what this article discussed about the impact of human activity on our environment. It said, ""The years since World War II have been dubbed by some as the Great Acceleration. In a single lifetime, people have seen remarkable advances in transportation, communication, and other technologies, which have brought unprecedented economic changes. Many enjoy a standard of living once thought impossible. In the meantime, the earth’s population has nearly tripled.
All of this, however, has not come without cost. Human activities are said to be pushing the earth beyond its natural cycles. In fact, some scientists say we have entered a new geological epoch called the Anthropocene—an age in which humans are making an increasingly notable impact on the planet."- The Watchtower
Yes, Everything we do contributes a small part to pollution
It is caused by the humkan consumption AND THE ACCUMULATION OF THE HARMFUL EMMISSIONS GASES AND CARBON MONOXIDE AND CLOROFLURO CARBONS RELEASED INTO THE AIR FROM THE AUTOMOBILE EXHAUST AND THE SMOKE FROM THE FACTOIRES. iT IS ALSO CAUSED BY THE CUTTING DOWN OF TREES WHICH PRODUCES LESS AIR.
Of course we are..even the environmentalists... we are all bioterrorists because of our abilities..to think, to have, and to create a lot of innovations like even the simpliest form of destruction such as carbon monoxide. We have our own car or we commute. Also we use products that has a high value of chemicals like shampoo..soap etc.
Industry make much pollution and it has a bad effect on our life.
Naa, temps are gonna change willy nilly at a certain rate, i think our impacts cause it to change at a faster rate.
Some, but there is not much we can do about. The only solution is fewer human beings, like a couple billion fewer. And any way you attempt this would have, um, public relations problems.
Most of it is caused by human aggressive usage of the natural environment.
Climate change is due to natural causes mainly, but with human activities.
The earth has been cooling and heating for billions of years, so it will continue to happen. But I do believe that humans have sped up the process. Also if i remember correctly from my school work, the last major temperature was a warming, so now should have been a freeze.
climates changes is cause by human but people are finding things out to stop climate change
My thoughts - I think we contribute to the cause. There has always been climate changes, it seems to have happened way before man ever started taking things from the earth or ever had a vehicle. If man is producing something that is toxic for the environment than the environment will suffer and give it's answer.
I have often wondered what life was like on other planets before they all pretty much don't have any life. Are earth quakes because we take so much oil out of the earth? We are a planet of greed, we take and take. I think it's best answered by the person that created the planet. Just my thoughts.
Yes it tend to global warming
I think it's a bit of both
Contrary to popular belief that carbon emissions from cars, other transportation vehicles, and factories are completely responsible for climate change, 75% actually comes from cow flatulence (contains methane that pollutes the atmosphere). This isn't a widely discussed topic because it would represent a huge loss for the billion dollar meat industry.
